ABOUT KIM AND PRACTICE
Physiotherapy & Industrial Solutions has been committed to excellence in patient care and industry services across Tasmania since 2004. Working in both the Private and Public sector, Director Kim Stojs has over 42 years of experience, including occupational rehabilitation and industry consulting.
Along with traditional physiotherapy treatments, Kim also specialises in Occupational Rehabilitation and Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE). Kim has worked extensively with a range of Tasmanian industries and has presented numerous sessions on topics such as manual handling, hand injuries and prevention of injuries.

We use the JTECH FCE Protocol (more about JTECH here) which uses computerised software to assess a client's ability to perform work and day-to-day activities. Kim’s FCE reports are some of the highest regarded for use in medico legal cases across Tasmania.
PATIENT INFORMATION
REFERRALS
A Doctor’s referral is not required for private patients. Workers Compensation, MAIB, Veteran Affairs and other third-party patients will require a Doctor’s referral prior to assessment by a Physiotherapist.
CANCELLATION POLICY
FEES
For private patients, fees are payable at the time of consultation. Claims can usually be processed on the spot using your private health insurance card through HICAPS. EFTPOS facilities are also available.
PARTY COMPENSATION
A cancellation fee may apply for non-attendance or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
For Functional Capacity Evaluations, we require:
3 days notice for Devonport appointments
1 week notice for statewide appointments
If your Physiotherapy treatment relates to an approved insurance claim, invoices can be sent directly to your insurer.
