GENERAL TREATMENTS

PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy Massage is the art of manipulating the soft tissues of the body to enhance relaxation and assist healing. Our Physiotherapists use a range of techniques to support muscle function, improve movement and assist recovery.
Massage can help maintain a healthy musculoskeletal system while supporting stretching and strengthening programs. It can also be safely enjoyed by almost anybody. What better way to relax!

INJURY MANAGEMENT
When an injury occurs, the Physiotherapist assesses the extent of the injury and develops a treatment plan focused on achieving a safe and early return to peak function.
Programs may include:
-
Education about the condition
-
Restoration of joint and soft tissue function
-
Advice to prevent re-injury
This applies to everyone from high-level athletes and workers to recreational golfers and busy parents.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Using their extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, our Physiotherapists design personalised fitness programs to improve strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.
Programs may include:
-
Aerobic conditioning
-
Strength training
-
Muscle length and mobility work
Rather than relying on fad products or quick fixes, we focus on practical, evidence-based programs tailored to your individual fitness goals.

Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE)
FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATION (FCE)
This is a specialised area of practice undertaken by only a few highly trained individuals. The goal is to assess a person’s ability to perform work duties, as well as their capacity to sustain the movements and postures required in their workplace.
A quality Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) includes a musculoskeletal assessment. The FCE process is a systematic and objective evaluation designed to ensure a worker’s safe capacity for work. It can also help answer many of the critical medico-legal questions in a Workers’ Compensation or Personal Injury case.
The FCE serves as an important bridge between the injured worker and their future.
JTECH FCE PROTOCOL
The JTECH FCE Protocol is a high-quality system used by our practice, incorporating a computerised, cutting-edge assessment tool.
“JTECH Medical™ provides advanced functional evaluation tools and physical assessment software for healthcare professionals, including medical practices, physical therapists, rehabilitation centers, chiropractors, sports medicine, and occupational medicine clinics. Our range of motion testing systems, muscle strength testing systems, grip strength testing, pinch strength testing, and pain threshold testing are trusted in clinics around the world.
Accurate, objective data is vital for tracking patient progress and making informed care decisions. With a single click, you can generate a complete narrative report to review with patients, reduce insurance denials, or present in court for personal injury cases.”
